FOCUS

I READ: Philippians 3: 13-14

In the walk of life, there are many problems and struggles that can divert our focus in trusting in God’s plans and promises. We can learn from Apostle Paul that even though he faced multiple struggles, he always focused his eyes on his heavenly calling. Paul did this because he knew that there is a reward that the Lord has prepared for His children who are faithful until the end. If our eyes are not focused on the right thing (shifting left and right), then it can cause us to fail in reaching the finish line. This applies in the world of sports, business, and really anything else, but especially in the race towards eternal life in the Kingdom of God. We are in a “good fight of faith,” where our eyes must be focused on Jesus. Focus all of our attention on Jesus. Jesus loves us so much that He was willing to give Himself to save us. Jesus will guide us in faith and hope so that we can have the victory. When our eyes are focused on Jesus, then the Holy Spirit will be on fire, and at that moment His power will work in us. Do not look back and be obstructed by past experiences and sins. Leave all of this behind. Now, we need to focus on Christ and become His victorious people!

I DECLARE: Hebrews 12 : 2: “…looking unto Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

I DO: I want to come out of every problem in life as a victor. This is why I will direct my eyes to Jesus.

I PRAY: I will pray at the prayer tower for America so that Jesus can be at the center and be the focus for this nation.
