Key Verse : Psalms 22:3:” But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.”
King David was not embarrassed to dance for God with all of his might in front of people. His wife saw this act as dishonorable and shameful, but God was pleased by what David did. If the Lord’s heart is pleased, then blessings will flow. It was evident in David’s life that God gave him victory in every battle he led. Physical blessings flowed profusely in his life and also in the life of the nation that he led, which was the nation of Israel. When someone praises God sincerely, that person consciously recognize the greatness and sovereignty of God. Don’t praise God based on what we feel and experience. Don’t only praise him when our heart is pleased and everything is going our way. And when everything is not going our way and our heart is troubled, we don’t praise him. Psalms 22:4 says that when we praise God, then He is enthroned in our praises. This means that our praises are sweet incenses before the Lord and it makes him want to be present. When He is present, His blessings will also be present. God will take care of the problems that we face and he will also fulfill all of our needs.
Do not chase blessings with all of your might, but instead, chase after God, the giver of blessings.
Daily Action :
I want to continually be in the Lord’s presence for their is peace, power, blessing, and answers to prayers.
Daily Declaration :
Isaiah 17:7:” In that day a man will look to his Maker, And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.
Daily Prayer :
I pray so that there will be revival of praises in churches all over America..
