I READ: Revelation 2: 1-7
The Lord is coming back very soon. The signs of the end of time that are written in Matthew 24 are happening these days. As the church of God we need to be on guard because the Lord will come at any time. This week we will learn how we can guard our spiritual life, so we are always ready in anticipating His second coming. The first and most important thing that we need to guard in our life is our first love to the Lord and whether it is still burning inside of our hearts. Is the love that appeared when we first accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior still the same until today? Do we still have a passionate heart today? If our heart is starting to be cold then we need to return back to our first love and do all of the things we did before for the Lord, when we were on fire for Him (Revelation 2: 5). This might be having an enthusiastic prayer life or diligently reading the Word or ministry with no strings attached or anything else. Let us come back to our first love, let us come back to the Lord.
I DECLARE: John 2: 17 : … “Zeal for your house will consume me.”
I DO: I will do all of things that I did when I first repented, for the Lord.
I PRAY: I will pray with my family and ask the Lord to pour out His love anointing once again, so that we love the Lord more with our first love.
