FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

I READ: Matthew 25

The ten virgins in the parable of Lord Jesus symbolizes the church of God or the assembly of the children of God. There are five children of God that are wise and there are also five that are foolish. Why were they called foolish? Because they let the time in which God should visit them to pass just like that. At this time, these ten virgins were waiting for the groom, and that is Lord Jesus Himself. They were waiting for God’s anointing over their life. But only five virgins that joined together with the groom, in other words, they experience the Lord’s visitation. How were these five virgins able to receive God’s anointing? It is because they were prepared with their lamps and oil. The lamps represent the word of God, as it says in Psalms 119:105. And in Exodus 29:7, the oil represents the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In the waiting hour of God’s visitation, we need to always dwell in His word. It is necessary for us to be anointed by the Holy Spirit. Our life needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit constantly. We must leave our flesh and worldly desire, instead, we need to sanctify ourselves. After we sanctify ourselves, then we are ready to wait on the Lord’s visitation that will soon arrive with a sudden in our life.

I DECLARE:  Romans 8: 13: For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

I DO: I will spare some time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to anoint me once more.

I PRAY: I will pray with my family today. We will pray together as a family for the specific prayer that we have. We will also declare the word of God that becomes God’s promise for our family.
