EYES ON JESUS

I READ: Philippians 3 : 13-14, Hebrews 12 : 1-2

In this journey of life, we encounter a lot of challenges that will constantly shift our focus from God’s promises and purposes. We need to learn from the Apostle Paul, who in the midst of adversity, still maintained the right perspective in fulfilling his calling because he knew the rewards that God has prepared for His children who finish the race. If we do not have the right focus in mind, we won’t be able to make it to the finish line. This understanding applies to all aspects of life, including sports, business, and many more. We are currently running the race where we need to really focus on Jesus who is the one that will guide us in faith and hope so that we may come out victorious. When we set our eyes on Jesus, our spirit will burn like fire and allow His power to work within us.

I DECLARE: Hebrews 12 : 2 – Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
