I READ : 1 Samuel 17 : 40 – 51
Do not be intimidated by negative thoughts that are thrown by the devil at us. David was not affected at all by intimidation or threats of Goliath on him and his people, verses 43-44. When a challenge came, David trusted God completely and made a declaration of faith, verses 46-47. Confidently he said before Goliath, “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands and I will strike you ….” As a result of his belief that emanated from his words, David won the battle against Goliath.
