BELIEVING WITHOUT SEEING

Daily Verses : John 20 : 24-29

Key Verse : John 20 : 29 : Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

After His resurrection and before His ascension to Heaven, The Lord Jesus showed himself to His disciples. At that time, God restored the hearts of His disciples.  But unfortunately one of His disciples, Thomas, was not present.  When the other disciples told Thomas that they had seen the Lord, Thomas did not believe them at all.  The Lord Jesus truly loved Thomas that He decided to visit His disciples once again.  Eight days after His first appearance to His disciples, Jesus came again, specifically wanting to meet Thomas.   When Thomas saw Jesus, instantly His faith started to rise.  And Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Jesus reminded His disciples how important it was to have a heart that believes in Him even though they have not seen or experience real evidence. God’s abundant blessings will be poured out to His children who truly believe in Him.

Only children of God’s kingdom would believe and receive even though they have not seen the answers/results to their prayers.
