I READ: Genesis 15:1-6
Abraham’s life journey since he was ordered by God to leave his family behind and head to a foreign land all the way to the event where he was asked by the Lord to sacrifice his son, Isaac, was a great example of walking in faith. Abraham is known as the father of faith, because of his strong faith. Abraham completely relied on the greatness of God to perform miracles. Abraham’s faith and obedience really pleased God, and that resulted in God blessing him abundantly. From Abraham was born the nation of Israel, a chosen nation that the Lord loves and favors even until today. Having faith or believing is the key to experience miracle. Don’t be discouraged, but wait patiently, have faith that God is able to perform miracle no matter how hard your situation/condition is. Keep your eyes focused on God who will perform the miracle, not focused on your situation.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I DO: What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
DOA: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
