I READ : James 5:7-11
For a farmer to enjoy his harvest, he needs to start with plowing the soil, sow the seeds, spread the fertilizers and water his crops. Even upon completing this process, the seeds/crops do not just grow right away. The farmer has to wait patiently for the soil to prdouce the kind of harvest he would like it to be. A heavy storm or even drought may delay his harvest. Sometimes, due to these weather conditions, a farmer may need to start the process of planting his seeds/crops all over again, before he gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Patience is a virtue he needs to have. He has to hold back his desires, and hopes he gets the results he is looking for. As children of God, we need to have patience while we wait, patience when we face difficulties and patience with the people around us. Abraham waited patiently and he got what was promised to him by God.
I DECLARE : Proverbs 16:32: Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.
I DO : What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY : Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
