BE PASSIONATE

I READ: Hagai 1 : 13-14 ; 2 Chronicles 15 : 7

If at this moment we have been entrusted and given the opportunity to serve the Lord, do it seriously.  To do it seriously means that we are not serving the Lord reluctantly.

If we have made the commitment to minister, then we must have the desire to work with excitement/passion.  Those who are passionate about serving the Lord will not easily be weary and give up even though there are problems.  They will not stop and back down, instead they will run faster with their eyes focusing on the Lord.  A characteristic of people who are passionate is they’re unwilling to give up and they don’t want to be affected by any situation, even though the situation is unfavorable.  Passionate/excited people are optimistic, they believe that with God, they’re able to face all difficulties.  Being excited is one of the keys to be successful at achieving the reward that God has prepared, whether it may be in the secular world or in serving the Lord.  Believe that the Holy Spirit will rise up a new excitement within us so that we are able to finish all of the work that God has entrusted us with.  But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded! (2 Chronicles 15:7)

I DECLARE: 1 Corinthians 15 : 58 : “….Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

I DO: I’m going to become a passionate person in life, no matter what the condition is, so that I can win the crown that the Lord has provided.

I PRAY: I’m going to pray with my family and ask God to pour out a new excitement to serve Him until His second coming.
