I READ: Ezekiel 36:26-27; Proverbs 27:19
The situation around a person can affect that person’s heart. If they live around people who are never satisfied, who are rebellious, and who always talk about other people’s weaknesses, sooner or later they will become the same type of people as the people around them. As people who believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is in our hearts. Be sure that we are filled with the Holy Spirit every day. The Holy Spirit will give us a new heart until we become more obedient to God. Acts 1:8 says, if the Holy Spirit comes upon us, then we will receive power. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit every day, the power of the Holy Spirit will work in our lives. We will not be influenced by the people around us, but on the contrary, we will be influencing them in a good way. The Holy Spirit is being poured out amazingly these days. He wants to bring new things to our lives. Someone whose life is led by the Holy Spirit every day will experience new things and will receive a new heart in doing, with joy, everything that God commands him/her.
I DECLARE: Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
I DO: I will pray in the Spirit every day.
I PRAY: I will ask God to fill me with the Holy Spirit once again and give me power to be able to bring a good influence for those around me.
