Daily Verses: John 6 : 1-15
Key Verse: John 6 : 9 : “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
This week, we will learn how to prepare ourselves to experience the Lord’s great visitation that will come to His church in this end times. Today, we will learn from the incident of 5 loaves and 2 fish that was able to feed more than 5000 people. How did a miracle happen at that time? Apparently, there was a lad (boy) who was willing to give his 5 loaves and 2 fish to the Lord. The Lord was pleased with what the boy had given him and a miracle happened. As we wait on the Lord’s visitation, let us prepare ourselves by giving the best that we have to the Lord. Just like the boy, he may only had those food, but he gave it all to the Lord. So for us, maybe the Lord reminds us to sow/give in times where our condition makes it impossible to do so, but when we are obedient, miracles will happen. In the end of the story we read, the boy experienced a miracle by bringing home 12 baskets of loaves.
Don’t be frugal with the Lord, so that the Lord’s visitation we receive will also be limitless.
Today I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to always remind me to always give the best for the Lord, whether it’s my time, energy, possession, heart and all of my life.
Psalm 126 : 2 : Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
I will diligently pray for my VIP prayer list (list of people who do not know the Lord) until their lives are touched and saved by the Lord.
