“The Year of a New Dimension”

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18

God gave a theme “The Year of a New Dimension” as we’re entering 2020. We’ll walk from glory to glory. According to the Hebrew calendar, we’re also going into Year 5780, or also known as the Year of Pey. “Pey” is depicted as a mouth. Apostle Paul said in the book of Corinthians, “I believed therefore I spoke.” We need to speak of the Word of God, even more, this year because our declaration will turn things into reality. Let’s keep it in faith and declare that 2020 will be better than 2019. Amen!

An act of faith as we’re entering 2020 is to give our first fruits. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruits of all your increase. So, your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.” In the past few years, God has been talking to us about the first fruits. If we believe, declare our faith, and put God’s Words into practice, His Words will turn into reality.

Another thing that we have to do in 2020 is God’s Great Commission as written on Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. We need to testify about Jesus’ kindness wherever we are. We have to make other people Jesus’ disciples as we’re to Him.

That said, we need the Holy Spirit to enable us to fulfill the Great Commission. This Spirit has been greatly poured out these days and is the last one before Jesus’ second coming. This also signifies the Third Pentecost. What does it mean?

  1. The Third Pentecost is the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit these days, even more than what had happened on Azusa Street.
  2. The Third Pentecost symbolizes the rising of Jeremiah’s generation, which is young people who are filled with the Holy Spirit and are passionate to win souls, as well as those who love God and don’t compromise with sins.
  3. The Third Pentecost was born in Indonesia and moves to other nations. The movement moves from the East to the West and will return to Jerusalem.
  4. The Third Pentecost will empower God’s people to finish the Great Commission before Jesus returns.

Happy new year and let’s walk from God’s glory to greater glory. God bless you.
