New Year, New Victory, New Harvest

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6 : 9

Today is the first day of the new year, the year of 2017. Along with this year, we are also entering the Hebrew year Ayin Zayin. Ayin Zayin is a year of spiritual warfare, but it is also a year of victory for the soldiers of God. Ayin Zayin is also the Sabbath year and a year where the last and greatest harvest will begin on the face of this earth.

Looking at everything that will happen this year, we are to rejoice and be excited as God’s children. We will experience victory and see a great harvest. We will also experience wonderful Sabbath moments with the Lord.

Prepare yourself for the spiritual warfare that is happening these days. During harvest time, God’s church will be faced with many obstacles the devil will set up. But, don’t be downhearted because the Lord has given us His power 2000 years ago through His sacrifice. The devil has been defeated! Our part is to believe and use the power and authority that was given to go against every obstacle and lies of the devil. As God’s mighty soldiers, we need to strengthen ourselves continuously. Don’t get affected by the intimidation of the evil one.

For us to be strong in spiritual warfare and experience victory, we need to be in God’s presence always. That is why this year is also called the Sabbath year, Isaiah 40:31 says that those who wait upon the Lord and be still in His presence will continually be renewed, strengthened and experience victory.

We must always have new strength in this season of harvest. As the verse says in the beginning of this article, Galatians 6:9, when harvest takes place, don’t find yourself losing heart, being hopeless, losing excitement, being afraid or worried; because these things will stop us from harvesting. It is unfortunate if this happens in the times we are supposed to harvest. All of the times we have sown will go in vain.

Be soldiers and victors of God so that in time of harvest, we can do it together. The harvest is already ripe, many souls are waiting to be harvested, and the nations are lining up and waiting for our call. Let’s work together in this season of great harvest.

Happy New Year 2017. Be victorious in spiritual warfare and go harvest. God bless.
