“Harvest of Blessings Through Miracles!”

The story of Jesus feeding the 5000 actually talks about the harvest of blessings through the miracle that was given to His disciples.

When Jesus went to separate himself to a quiet place, many people heard and followed Jesus. At the time, His disciples came to Him and said, “Teacher, is it not better to tell the crowd to go to the villages to look for food and shelter because it is almost night time.” But Jesus said, “You do not have to give them food!” Hearing these words, the disciples were surprised, but they did what Jesus had told them to do. And then, there was a young boy who brought 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.

This young boy came to Jesus and gave it all to Him! Jesus then took the bread and fish and looked up as He gave thanks. He broke the bread and the fish and called the disciples to distribute them. Maybe at the time, the disciples were quiet and looked at each other, but what’s amazing is, they obeyed. After they obeyed, a miracle happened! The bread and fish were endless until the 5000 people became full. There were even 12 baskets of bread leftover and they were given to the disciples. The disciples of Jesus harvested the blessings through a miracle.

The story above teaches us how we can experience harvest through miracles. The key is that we have to bless and think about others. Let us take a look at what Jesus said, Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

After Jesus received the 5 loaves bread and 2 fish, He looked up and gave thanks. When Jesus asks of us, we have to surrender to Him and give thanks. Don’t complain, because this is a seed of faith for the harvest of blessings through miracles.

A miracle happened when the disciples obeyed the Lord, even though it did not make sense. When we live in intimacy with the Lord, we will have the push to obey Him when He speaks to us even though it does not make sense.

Beloved of the Lord, these days I want to tell you to not only focus on your own needs. You will surely experience the harvest of blessings through miracles. And when you live in full obedience and thanksgiving to the Lord, the windows of heaven will be open and the Lord’s blessings will flow within your life. Amen! God bless.
