We have entered the new year of 2019. There are many new miracles we have not seen nor experienced before that God will do this year. One of them is that there will be a birth of a new generation of the end times (Jeremiah generation). This generation will walk with authority and the Lord’s anointing to stand firm and be bold to go against the current to do His will.
There are 3 things we must do to walk in the anointing of this new generation. First, rely on the Lord. God’s Word says cursed are those who rely on their own strength. Why? Because every good thing comes from the Lord and we must truly realize this so that all honor, glory, and praise are given unto Him.
One proof that we rely on the Lord is we always put our trust in Him in every circumstance, good or bad, in difficulties and in joy. By doing this, we are always in His plan and under His control. We would not complain easily or blame others. We believe that God has a wonderful plan and all things work together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We must always involve God in every aspect of our lives. Always seeking after Him, asking Him for blessings. We are aware that without God, we cannot do anything. Our strength is limited, people can disappoint us, but the Lord will never disappoint us. His power is unlimited. He is the source of life, He is the center and the source of help.
The second thing we must do is to live in repentance. Repentance always brings God’s blessings in our lives. The Bible teaches us that repenting does not only mean to stop sinning. It is turning around and walking in the right direction. Repentance results in change. In contrast, there is no such thing as a change without repentance. That change will be seen and felt by others. God wants to do something new for us every day. The requirement? Be renewed each day. Change each day because there are new blessings and miracles. We must receive them with new hearts. Sow what is good daily. Sow righteousness. Don’t sow in the flesh because that will only reap destruction. The new generation is the generation that does not compromise with sin.
Third, be faithful until the end. Before Jesus’ second coming, the Bible says there will be difficult times. There will be a purification, challenges, and shakings. But, the Bible also says those who are righteous will live by faith (Hebrews 10:38). The Lord wants us to hold on until the end. Don’t start with spirit and end with flesh. We will reach the finish line, finish the race of faith and meet the Lord. That means we have become conquerors. There are a reward and a crown awaiting us if we are faithful until the end. Let us hold fast, be conquerors. We will receive the reward and govern with the Lord. God bless.
