Key Verse : 1 Thessalonians 1 : 8 : The Lord’s message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it,
This week we will learn with the Book of Thessalonians 1 and 2. Apostle Paul wrote these letters to the congregation in Thessalonica. This congregation was made up of people who really understood God’s calling in their lives. Through their testimonies, they became blessings to their communities and even out to other cities. They did not only share the gospel, but their lives were open books of the gospel (the message) that everyone could enjoy. Paul says in verse 8 that they did not need to share the gospel in different cities anymore, but instead, the Lord’s message/their faith in God, had already become known everywhere. In the NIV translation, Paul tells the congregation that they are the message. The congregation in Thessalonica was always happy, the people became examples for those of faith, and they always did good for each other. Let this become an example for us today, so the gospel (the message) may be spread out wide through our lives and become a blessing for others.
How can the world get to know Christ and experience His love? Through our lives, which become a blessing to them.
Daily Action :
Starting today, I will pray that God will make me a blessing to my community, whether it’s in my workplace, my school, my family, my church, or other places.
Daily Declaration :
1 Thessalonians 1 : 3 : We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Daily Prayer : I will continuously do an intercessory prayer for the people in my VIP list. When I pray, I will also put my hands over their names so that they will be touched by God.
