WORKING TOGETHER

I READ: Philippians 2 : 19 – 30, Ecclesiastes 4 : 9-12

Timothy and Epaphroditus were Apostle Paul’s co-workers. They served the Lord as a team and they showed great teamwork. They were very close and dear to Paul that he considered them as his own brothers. To work in God’s calling, we need to work together with other children of God. The book of Ecclesiastes states that when we work together in unity, we are strengthening each other. During our frail and weak moments, we are able to depend on someone to encourage us so we can continue with our calling. In the opposite; when we are alone, we won’t have anyone to rely on and we won’t have the ability to continue our journey. In these last days, let’s continue to reside in God’s community, in a local church, and LIGHT cell group.

I DECLARE: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 – Two are better than one…For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
