TRAINED IN DURABILITY

Daily Reading: Psalm 118:1-9.

Key Verse: Psalm 118:14: The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.

As believers, we need to realize that all of the problems, hardships, and oppression that we experience have a noble purpose. If we see it this way, then our reactions will start to change. We will go through life’s processes calmly, without complaining, but with thanksgiving instead. The end result is that we will overcome the situation as people whose character has been renewed and have the endurance toward shaking. Conversely, if we react by complaining, being disappointed, being angry, and dissatisfied, and then no change will happen in our life (Proverbs 24:10: If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small). No matter how many problems or how much pressure we face, we need to remember that the Lord is our strength and He has given us strength on the inside to stand firm against shaking and storms. If you have an attitude that believes then it will help us stay strong and positive and without us realizing it, our attitude and strength can become a blessing for others, especially those who are also going through difficult times.

Continue to stand firm, do not be swayed, and believe!
