TRADITIONS AND GRACE

I READ: GALATIANS 2

Apostle Paul taught the congregation of Galatia to no longer live according to traditions.  One of the Jewish traditions during that time was that all male were required to be circumcised to validate their faith and believe.  However, Paul stated that someone is not made righteous because they follow traditions but instead through their faith in Jesus.   One example was Titus who was Greek but was not circumcised and Paul did not force him to be circumcised.  Paul stated to the congregation of Galatian that the Lord called him to share the gospel to the gentiles.  God loves all nations, whether they’re Jewish who are circumcised or whether they’re non-Jewish and uncircumcised.

I DECLARE: Galatians 2 : 21 – I do not set aside the grace of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray for the next generation including children and youth in my family and also the young generation in America
