TO LOVE

I READ: Ephesians 5 : 22-33, Ephesians 6:1-9

Through today’s Word, God reminds us to love one another as members of the body of Christ. Let Jesus be the center of our lives. Therefore, God teaches husbands and wives to love one another just as they love God. The Word of God also reminds children to love their parents by obeying them. Parents must love their children and not irritate their children. Servants love their masters by obeying with reverence and sincerity, just as we obey Christ. Masters also must love their servants and should stay away from all forms of threat and intimidation and should not have favorites., for God does not have favorites. The Bible says that if we do good and love others then God will bless us.

I DECLARE: Ephesians 6: 8 – Knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is slave or free.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
