TO GIVE

I READ: Matthew 8 : 1-4, 2Corinthians 9 : 6-8

The Word of God says that when we give to the Lord, then He will bless our lives abundantly, even more than what we have given. He will always suffice all of our needs. The verses in Matthew that we just read talk about how a leper was cleansed by God instantaneously. When he was healed, Jesus told him to go and show himself to the priest. Jesus was teaching this man to respect the Lord. Jesus then asked him to give the gift of thanksgiving in the house of the Lord. This story teaches us that each time after the Lord provides a way out of our struggles and we gain victory, it would be nice to come to the presence of the Lord to bring our thanksgiving offerings.

I DECLARE: Luke 6:38 – Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom…

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
