I READ: Psalms 119:1-12, Ephesians 6:10-17
Bad influences at work, school, the environment around us, or the technology and worldly entertainment seem to aggressively offer us to compromise with sin and fleshly desires. Then how can we maintain a clean and holy life in the midst of a world like this? The answer is by living according to God’s word. Without the Word of God we will not be able to resist all kinds of influences of this world. For the Word is the truth that will set us free from all influences of the world, the flesh and the vicious devil. Through the words that we read and meditate, the Holy Spirit will give us and understanding so that the Word will teach, rebuke, correct, and educate us in truth, and will change our lives.
I DECLARE: 2 Timotius 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
I DO: What actions will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
