Daily Verses : James 3 : 9 – 12
Key Verse : Proverbs 18 : 21 : The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
The word of God says that every word that we say has power: the power to build up or destroy, to heal or to disrupt, to bring blessings or to bring curses, to bring joy or to bring grief. Life and death are controlled by our words. We will eat the fruit of our words whether it is good or bad. Every word will happen. If we say negative things, those things will happen in our lives. The same goes if we say positive things. Because of that, how great would it be if our words will forever be from God’s word, because we will release the power of His word to work in our lives. Our lives will be full of good days and an abundance of God’s blessings.
Be careful; the negative words that come out of our mouths will revoke ALL of the words of blessing that we’ve already proclaimed.
Daily Action :
I will guard the words that I say so that the words that come out of my mouth aren’t negative, but instead positive, and come from the word of God.
