I READ: Zechariah 4:6-9
Each of us would want to experience victory in our struggle. If there is a big mountain in front of us, we’d like that mountain to become a flat ground. Can this actually happen? Of course it can. According to the verse we just read, this is very possible and not impossible to take place. How is it going to happen? Through the Word of God today, God is teaching us to not depend on our own strength and mind when we are trying to solve our problems. But instead, we should depend fully on the Lord through the Holy Spirit that is within us. If the Holy Spirit resides within us, then the power of God will become apparent, Acts 1:8, and we are able to conquer our struggles/problems with His power.
How is the Holy Spirit able to live within us? We have to continually ask the Lord to fill us with His Holy Spirit and we have to speak in tongue often.
I DECLARE: Acts 1:8 – “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
