THE LORD’S MIND

I READ: Philippians 2:5–11

It is not easy to focus our minds on things that are pleasing to the Lord.  When we face problems and struggles in life, many times we think about things that may happen and we try to get answers to our problems.  If things don’t happen exactly as we’ve planned, at times we become worried, angry, sad, and panicked.  The Word of God teaches us to place God’s mind and feeling in us.  God’s mind always longs to please His father and to do His will.  The mind of Christ is positive, holy, good, worthy of praise, and is not selfish.  The mind of Christ always has the goal to glorify the Father in heaven.

I DECLARE: I Corinthians 2:16b – But we have the mind of Christ.

I DO: What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
