THE LORD IS MY RIGHTEOUSNESS

Daily Verses : Jeremiah 23 : 5-6, Philippians 3 : 7 – 11

Key Verse : Jeremiah 23 : 6b : … Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

The Lord Jesus is our righteousness. He is our Jehovah Tsidkenu. No matter how hard we try, we are not unable to justify our own selves. As long as we live in this world, the law of sin will continue to allure us. We cannot become justified through however many good actions we carry out, because there will never be a perfect action that we can carry out. Only Jesus was perfect in carrying out every task that was given to Him by His Father in heaven, which was carried out through the cross. When Jesus was on the cross, he told the Father that “it is finished.” The Father saw every work of Christ as perfect in His eyes. Because of this, only through faith in Christ and His work on the cross can we be justified. The Lord gave us freedom from any feeling of unworthiness and sin – something the devil will continually try to accuse us of – so that we may live in our worth and righteousness in Christ. Do not live in your sin and past mistakes, for the Lord has already forgiven you of your sin and has sanctified and justified your life with His blood. Live now in the Lord’s righteousness, and experience joy in your future. Continue to remind yourself that you are righteous in Christ Jesus.

From being unworthy to becoming worthy because of His work on the cross, do not continue to live in your past, but rise up and begin to shine.

Daily Action :
I will declare Christ’s work on the cross and His grace every day. Only that will enable me to be sanctified and justified by the Lord – not by any of my own works.

Daily Declaration :
Philippians 3 : 9 : …and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

Daily Prayer :
I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open up opportunities for me to begin testifying to my VIP List and to offer words of blessing over every person I encounter today.
