THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Daily Verses : Colossians 1 : 1-14
Key Verse : Colossians 1 : 10 : so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

This week we will learn from the Book of Colossians. This Book is one of the letters from Apostle Paul towards for the congregation in Colossians. To sum it all up, this Book is filled with learning about/the knowledge of Jesus Christ. By reading and meditating on this Book, we will learn who our Lord Jesus Christ is. Today we will learn from the first chapter of Colossians, where Paul, in verse 13, teaches the congregation in Colossians that Jesus has released his children from the dominion of darkness, that He defeated the devil and all that he rules, so the devil cannot control his children any longer. Even more than that, it says that Jesus has taken us from the devil’s dominion and placed us in God’s Kingdom. His Kingdom speaks about joy, peace, and righteousness, Romans 14 : 17. His Kingdom also speaks about power, 1 Corinthians 4 : 20. As His children, we will live joyfully, successfully, and peacefully because our lives are no longer controlled by the devil, but now our lives are full of God’s power and peace.

Don’t be deceived by the devil. We are no longer living by the control of the devil, but instead, we live in God’s Kingdom, filled with power and victory. Have faith in it!
