I READ: Psalm 20
In order for us to experience success and prosperity in our lives, we need to be anointed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God’s power that has been given in our lives so that we can experience victory. We succeed in our lives not because of our strength or our own intelligence for it is because of the Holy Spirit that works in us, Zechariah 4:6. Throughout David’s life as a king, he always asked for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to guide and empower him so he can rule the people of Israel justly. During his reign, the nation of Israel lived in the abundant blessings of God. In contrast, during Saul’s reign, he did not live within the anointing of God hence why it caused the nation of Israel to be defeated by the Philistines.
I DECLARE: Zechariah 4:6 -…”Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
