Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Today is a very special day because it is the ascension day of Jesus Christ and the believers all over the world will be celebrating this special day. Let us now meditate on the meaning of His ascension to heaven. Jesus went up to heaven so that the Holy Spirit can come down to earth. Why does the Holy Spirit need to come down to earth? The Holy Spirit needs to come down because it is meant to reign in this world, to convict the world of its sin, and to bring it to salvation according to John 16:8. But for us, the Holy Spirit will bring the truth according to John 16:13. The Holy Spirit will also be our Helper and our source of strength according to John 16:7. Let us give thanks to God for His ascension. Because of that, the Holy Spirit and its power was poured out into our lives. To face the world that is getting more evil by the day, we need to always be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. If we have the power of the Holy Spirit, our lives will experience victory after victory and it will be free from bondages.
Rely fully on the Holy Spirit and not our own strength. By doing so we will experience a constant victory.
Daily Actions :
I will ask the Father to baptize me with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5) and to fill my heart with the Holy Spirit
Daily Declaration :
Acts 1 : 8 : But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Daily Prayer :
I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open up an opportunity for me to testify to the people in my VIP list. In addition to testifying, I will also declare blessings for the people that I will be meeting today.
