Daily Verses : John 14 : 25 – 31
Key Verse : John 14 : 26 : But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Why do we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit? One of the reasons is because the Holy Spirit is a Helper Spirit. He will always help/comfort us, strengthen us, calm us if anything happens in our daily lives. Aside from that, the Holy Spirit will also teach us the Lord’s truth in a way that enlightens our hearts and minds to understand His Word. When we are filled with His Word then the Holy Spirit will remind us of His Word when we need it, so that we can respond well to the problems we are facing. The Holy Spirit’s role in our lives is very important. That is why we should always ask Him to fill our lives.
The Holy Spirit is the main Comforter, Helper, and Teacher in our lives. Rely fully on Him.
Daily Action :
I pray for the Holy Spirit in supplication for opportunity I can use to bear witness for people on my VIP list and impart blessings to every person I meet today.
Daily Declaration :
John 14 : 16-17 : And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Daily Prayer :
Tonight I will pray together with L.I.G.H.T friends for this Sunday’s Pentecost service. We’ll also make plan to hold outdoor intercession prayers this week.
