THE FIRST CHURCH

Daily Verses : Acts 2 : 41 – 47

Key Verse : Acts 2 : 42 : And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

The first church started as a result of the pouring of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit was poured out to Jesus’ disciples on the day of Pentecost. From that moment, the first church grew rapidly. The first church liked to pray, praise and worship God together. They also liked to learn the Word of God and be united. The congregation of the first church liked to give to others as well as to God’s ministry. Signs, wonders, and miracles were always following them. They were always filled with joy and a lot of people were fond of them. Those are some of the characteristics of the first church. If we’re filled with the Holy Spirit, we will also experience the things the first Church experienced. The Holy Spirit that worked 2000 years ago will work in the same way for the church in the end time.

The church in the end time will be a replica of the first church. Miracles, signs and wonders will accompany them.

Daily Action :
I will take the time today to lift up prayers of thanksgiving to Jesus because He has given His Holy Spirit for me.

Daily Declaration :
Isaiah 2 : 2-3 : Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. 3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Daily Prayer :
I will pray specifically for the people in my very important prayer list and invite those people to the Pentecost service tomorrow.
