I READ: Revelation 2:8–11
The Church of Smyrna experienced many oppositions during its time. They were prosecuted due to the Gospel that were being preached. There were many false teachings, prophets, and followers against them as they were sharing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord’s message to them was to stay in faith as they would be rewarded with a crown of life. As part of the end time church, we are and will experience similar prosecutions due to our faith and belief. Matthew 5:10-12 says, “Blessed are those who are prosecuted for righteousness’ sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
I DECLARE: Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.… I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
