I READ: John 11:1-44
There is always power and blessing behind our thanksgiving. Today we learn from Jesus Himself, how thanksgiving will produce miracles in our lives. When Jesus’ friend Lazarus was died, everyone gathered at Lazarus’ house. Martha and Mary were mourning over the death of their sibling. At that time, Jesus told them, that if they believe they would see the glory of God. Then He gave thanks to the Father in heaven for the event He was experiencing at that time. The people who were mourning for Lazarus at that time started to mock Jesus, but He did not care. He prayed to the Father and gave thanks. What Jesus did pleased the Father and this made Him resurrect Lazarus death.
I DECLARE: John 11:40 – Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
