I READ: Luke 10: 1 – 9, Ecclesiastes 4: 9 – 12
In order for us to fulfill God’s calling and will in our life, we need other people to work with us. When Jesus was living in this world and when He was fulfilling the Father’s calling and will, he needed His disciples to work together with Him. He was sending the disciples two by two ahead of Him to the cities that He was planning to visit. The disciples weren’t sent alone but in pairs, which also signifies that they also need someone else to help them in their ministry. When we are working in a team in our ministry, God’s miracle, signs, and wonders will be with us (Luke 10:9). The Book of Ecclesiastes talks about how if we work in a team in our ministry or whatever aspect in our life, we will strengthen one another. More than that we will not be defeated by the devil because, in the midst of our unity, God is with us. Do not leave your righteous community, your small group, because together in that vessel you will fulfill God’s calling and will.
I DECLARE: Ecclesiastes 4: 9: Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor.
I DO: I will pray and renew my commitment so that I will be more faithful in attending the services and small groups in my church.
I PRAY: I will pray for God’s visitation that will happen in tonight’s small group.
