It is hard to do the right thing in this day and age. There is a lot of things in our job, school, community, and even technology that are pushing us to satisfy the desire of our flesh and commit sin. So how do we live a righteous and holy life in this world? You can find the answer in the book of Psalm written by David. We can live a righteous life in this world, which is getting more and more evil, if we live according to the Word of God. Without the Word of God, we cannot withstand against the influences of this world. The Word of God is the truth that will free us from the influences in this world, the devil, and our fleshly desires. Through reading and meditating on the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will give us the understanding so that the Word will reproof, correct, and instruct our habits and change our lives (Verse – 2 Timothy 3:16).
Do not use your own strength to guard your holiness but use the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Daily Action :
Whenever there’s a push or whisper to commit a sin, I will declare the Word of God so that it will prevent me from committing that sin.
Daily Declaration :
2 Timothy 3:16 : All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Daily Prayer :
I will pray so that the Holy Spirit will correct/warn me if I am doing things that are not pleasing to the Lord.
