I READ: Hebrews 3:7-19
The sins that resulted the Israelites from not being able to enter the promised land were unfaithfulness, disobedience, and their disbelief in God. Although they witnessed miracles that the Lord performed for them for 40 years, they still didn’t believe and stayed disobedient and rebellious. They weren’t thankful for every miracle that the Lord did for them, instead they were increasingly against the Lord and unfaithful to Him. In fact, many of them turned away being rebellious from God and worshiped idols. Today, let’s look into our own heart. Are we still faithful to the Lord who saved us and loves us? Are there any other idols in our heart – those that are more important than God?
I DECLARE: Psalm 37:3 – Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
