I READ: 2 Chronicles 7:1-14, Jeremiah 29:7
When Solomon finished building the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, he consecrated it with burnt offerings, praises to the Lord, and the Feast of Tabernacles. The Lord expressed to Solomon how pleased He was with the house of the Lord that was built. He also gave a message to Solomon that the Israelites had to pray often and repent from their sins if they want to be blessed and restored by God. Today, God is giving us the same message. We need to stand in the gap for this nation, America, and pray for it. We have to humble ourselves before the Lord and represent this nation in repenting from sins. By doing so, the Lord will forgive America and will start to restore this nation.
I DECLARE: Jeremiah 29:7 – And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
