Key Verse : 2 Thessalonians 2 : 16-17 :
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
In the first book of Thessalonians, Apostle Paul taught us a lot about the end times but once again he talks a lot about the end times in the second book of Thessalonians. As God’s church, we’re always reminded to be on guard and careful on the days leading up to Jesus’ second coming because the devil is working really hard to deceive as many people as he can. The purpose of this is so that he can take them to eternal hell. Apostasy will happen everywhere and human beings will be godless and will hate God on the days leading up to the end times. Paul is reminding the church to stand strong and hold on to the teachings that have been given to us during these end times. We need to hold on to the lessons from our LIGHT and services held by our local church like what Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2: 15. Do not come out from the covering of the local church because the devil will try to attract you with his false teachings. Strengthen your root in Christ and He will give you joy, strength, and hope for us, His church, who is waiting for His second coming.
Stay within a local church, take cover in it, and the devil cannot deceive us with his teachings.
Daily Action :
I will renew my commitment to the local church and I will be faithful in attending the services.
Daily Declaration :
2 Thessalonians 2 : 15 : Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.
Daily Prayer :
I will prayer-fast and prayer-walk around my school, workplace, and neighborhood until there is united prayer there, where prayer groups will form.
