I READ: 1 Timothy 6:17-19
People are remembered by the good things that they did while they lived, not by how rich they were. The whole world will always remember Mother Teresa for her good deeds and sacrifice that she made for mankind, specifically for those who were turned away and cast out by society. God is reminding us that while we live on this earth, we need to do good deeds, because that is eternal. Many people measure the good deeds that they do using their own measurements. But it is actually others and the Lord who should measure if someone has done good deeds or not. As children of God, we have to do good to everyone, not just to those who have done good things to us. The world can believe in the Lord much easier if children of God do good works.
I DECLARE: Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works andglorify your Father in heaven.
