I READ: Hebrews 3:7–19
The Israelites were not able to enter the promised land due to their unfaithfulness, disobedience, and distrust in God. Although they had witnessed God’s miracles over the past 40 years, they still did not believe, they disobeyed and rebelled against God. Instead of giving thanks for what the Lord has done for them, they rebelled and were unfaithful to Him. Many of them deserted and turned their backs from God and worshipped idols. Today, we need to introspect our hearts, are we still faithful to God, who has saved and love us? Are there other idols in our hearts that we have put at the center of our lives?
I DECLARE: Psalm 37:3: Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
I DO: What actions am I going to take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
