PURE AND SINCERE

I READ: John 1: 43-51

Nathanael was a disciple of the Lord who had a true personality and no falsehood and no hypocrisy.  Nathanael’s heart was pure, sincere, and innocent before God and man. There was no hidden motivation in it.  God is always looking for true worshipers who have no falsehood or pretense in it. The Lord Jesus told Nathanael that he would see great things in his life because his heart was pure and sincere before God. Let us have a heart like Nathanael. We shouldn’t only look good from the outside, but our hearts are full of deceit and selfish thoughts.  Evil thoughts overtime can affect our behavior toward others. Hidden motivation can harm others and, in the end, can lead to division.

I DECLARE: Act 24: 16 – This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray for the next generation including children and youth in my family and also young generation in America
