Daily Verses : 2 Thessalonians 3
Key Verse : 2 Thessalonians 3 : 1 : Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you
Apostle Paul gave a last message to the congregation in Thessalonica and the message is to remind them that they have to support, honor, and diligently pray for their spiritual leaders. Why do we have to do this? It’s because the spiritual leaders are working hard for God’s people spreading the Word without seeking a profit. During their ministry, they often encounter people who are not happy with what they’re doing like what Paul wrote in verse 2. In addition, God has also trusted them with the responsibility to lead and correct the congregation but they often have to face with people who are not willing to be corrected and lead. So the Apostle Paul is reminding us to honor our spiritual leader by doing an act of kindness and by not going against the teachings that they’ve given to us (verse 6). By doing those two things, they can do their work and responsibility with joy and steadfastly (verse 5).
Treasure and support your spiritual leader(s) because it is equivalent to you treasuring and honoring your Father in heaven. They are the Father’s representatives in this world.

I will pray for my spiritual leaders starting from my LIGHT leader, head of departments, service coordinators to the pastors.

Daily Prayer : I will continue to pray for my VIP prayer list and invite them to come to the church service this Sunday.
