Daily Verses : Matthew 6 : 25-34
Key Verse : Matthew 6 : 27 : Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
The love of money represents one of the biggest idols present in this nation. The motto, “Time is money”, has already become a daily part of the American life. The more this nation idolizes money, the more this nation’s well-being will become. As this economic crisis continues to intensify, unemployment and poverty figures worsen, so that everyone becomes a victim of the situation. Today, we will pray so that the spirit of mammon (the love of money) will be broken from this nation, and that the hearts of this nation will return to their first love of the Lord – that the love of money will become a genuine love for God. That people will begin to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, turn away from their wicked ways and return to the Lord, so that the Lord will restore this nation from its current economic crisis. Pray so that the Lord will open the veil from the eyes of this nation so that they may see the grace of God above everything else, including materials things.
We pray that this nation will be able to switch from loving money to loving Jesus.
Daily Action :
I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit that the people of America would be able to make Jesus, and nothing else, the center of their lives.
Daily Declaration :
Matthew 6 : 33 : But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Daily Prayer :
I will pray in the prayer tower for America, most importantly, for the restoration of the economy and for the upcoming elections.
