I READ: 1 Timothy 2:1-7
When America was founded, it was a nation who stood on God’s foundation. The leaders at that time proclaimed that they believed in God, “In God We Trust.” This nation was abundantly blessed even to the point of gaining the status of a “Super Power” country. They also experienced a building up of the church and a harvesting of souls. Yet, in the journey, this nation chose to leave the fence of God’s grace; they started disobeying God and started living in sin. Today we will pray for this nation’s leaders to come back to their first foundation which is in God, to start living in God’s righteousness, and to come back to honoring and fearing Him. Also, we will pray for God’s children to start taking positions in the government.
I DECLARE: Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
