PRAY AND SAY IT WITH AN ASSURANCE

Daily Verses : James 5 : 13-18

Key Verse : Matthew 7 : 7-8 :
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

God longs for us to pray with an assurance. Every word that comes out of our prayer, has to be accompanied with faith and assurance. Our prayer should be full of declaration and at the same time, we should claim His promises so that it will be fulfilled in our life. An example of this can be seen from the story of Elijah in the book of James. With faith and assurance, Elijah prayed so that the rain will not come down and Elijah’s prayer was answered. Many times we pray with doubtfulness, sense of giving up, and without an assurance. We think that our prayer will not be answered by God but today God is reminding us that He is a God who loves us so much. Because of this, every prayer that we bring up to Him, He will answer it like what is written in Matthew 7:7. When we pray with a declaration, we are praying according to His will. God wants to give us proofs that His Word is real by answering our prayers.

Pray with the eyes of faith. By doing so you will be able to see the answer to your prayer.
