I READ: James 5: 13 – 18
Our Father longs for us to pray with assurance and faith. Prayers accompanied by a declaration of His words give us the power to claim and receive His love and promises. Let’s look at the story of Elijah in the book of James. He prayed earnestly and faithfully asked the Lord to withhold the rain and God answered his prayer. Many times, we have doubts about the things we pray for and when we doubt, God will not answer our prayers. Today the Lord wants to remind us that He is a loving Father, that when we ask, He will give, Matthew 7:7. When we pray and declare His word, we are doing His will and He will answer our prayers.
I DECLARE: Ephesians 3:20: Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us
I DO: What actions am I going to take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
