PLEASING THE LORD’S HEART

Daily Verses : Psalm 100.

Key Verse : Psalm 100:5: For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

King David was someone who really knew how to please the Lord’s heart. He never stopped praising and singing praises in his life. David was able to see the greatness of God beyond what his physical eyes can see. So, it is not a surprised that he was called the apple of God’s eyes. God blessed David’s life and the Israelites, whom he was leading as king, abundantly because of David’s thanksgiving and praise that were lifted up day and night in his life. King David experienced victory after victory when he would go to war. Now the question is do we want to please the Lord’s heart? In order to do so, the key is to give thanks and praise the Lord often. The Lord’s heart will be moved by our thanksgiving and it will move Him to bless and do miracles in our lives. Giving thanks is also a sign that we are content with the lives that God has provided.

The Lord’s will is for us to give thanks no matter if we’re in a good or bad situation.
