I READ: John 20 : 19-23
After His resurrection, Jesus did not ascend to the Heaven right away and was on the Earth for 40 days in a mission to restore HIs disciples’ hearts. They were afraid and became discouraged when they knew that Jesus already died. Three days later on a Sunday evening, the disciples were gathering in a locked room. They did not know Jesus had resurrected until He appeared in the middle of their fellowship and blessed them, saying “Peace be with you.” The peace from Jesus that surpasses all human understanding quickly erased their fear and truly strengthened their faith.
I DECLARE: John 14:27 : “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
