I READ: 1 Samuel 17:20-37
The time when we understand God’s blessings and live by His grace, we have started to walk with our Lord on a personal level. Such as David, when he went against Goliath, he did not lose heart; though his opponent was greater and more intimidating. David had complete trust in the Lord where he was in a place of provision and glory. His assurance was caused by his previous experiences. The Lord was with David when he encountered the lions and the bear during his time as a shepherd. How can we have a personal encounter with the Lord? When we spend more time with Him, just like David. David continuously worshipped the Lord when he was shepherding his lambs.
I DECLARE: Exodus 14:14 – The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
